La Pornografía vista des de la Teoría Política

En la revista electrónica Critical Sense, de la Universidad de California Berkeley, dedican el número de primavera de 2005 a la pornografía vista desde la teoría crítica. Me parece que hay artículos muy interesantes y argumentos muy innovadores -si bien desde el feminismo ya se ha hablado muchísmo de ello-. Os recomiendo leer el artículo de de Lila Lee, titulado "The War Against What the "Pornographic Imaginary" Does to Real Women". Como dice esta autora:
"In the 1980’s women began a war against pornography. We
did this because pornography hurt and subordinated women,
both individually and as members of the group women. Apologists
for pornography argued that it was harmless fantasy, but we
showed that real women suffer real harm from the production
and consumption of pornography. We showed that pornography
is constitutive of gender norms because it conditions male arousal
to depictions of dominant men and subordinated women. Finally,
we showed that because pornography is constitutive of society’s
norms, the harm from it tends to become invisible, to be seen as
just the way sex is".

Que la teoría se hace añicos en cuanto dejamos de hablar de pornografía heterosexual y hablamos de pornografía homosexual. No women, same pattern. :)
A ver qué se te ocurre para salvar esa teoría...
el porno gay (male or female) ha sido toda una liberación para la mujer, en serio:)
